I have always believed in living life to its fullest, to look for the good in every day and rising to the challenge it presents. To be passionate and positive in all my daily activities, all the time maintaining that smile and cherishing the memories the day brings. I found myself wondering what I could do to support CLAN.

I thought about the mountains, the challenges they have presented to me in the past and the joy they delivered. Climbing Mount Everest offers the greatest of challenges, to stand on the highest point on earth. This is my goal, undertaken by myself but not achievable without the support of many others.

By facing the challenge of climbing Mount Everest, via the North Ridge in 2009. I hope to be an inspiration to others, so that they can face the challenges in their lives and support others with challenges ahead, whilst raising funds to support the excellent work of CLAN.
